From Your Executive Director

|
|
As I keep chugging along this summer, I find myself asking "where am I showing up?". Maybe you find yourself asking the same thing. I know it can be a loaded question but we're here to help you work through it, especially when thinking about how your company is seen in the industry. Beyond just being a team player - are you interacting with others? Are you telling your story? Are you taking risks to be better? This year still offers incredible opportunities to showcase your team's hard work and innovation. From industry awards to professional development events and tradeshows, you can really make your mark.
It's also a good opportunity to get in front of your customers. Whether it's as simple as picking up the phone or sending them a little something in the mail - giving them something they resonate with is all the difference.
Dive in for our latest Supplier Spotlight, discover Industry Awards Deadlines, and grab some essential resources to help you thrive!

Meet Troy Trembly, MAS Sales Manager, Gill-line
Q: What's one piece of advice you would give to someone starting their career in promotional products?
A: I have always been amazed at how friendly and open this industry is. Go to industry events, make friends and you will learn a lot.
Q: What industry publications or resources do you find most valuable?
A: I like PPB and the Counselor. I pick out my customers that appear in them and reach out.
Q: What's your favorite thing about merch?
A: I still get excited when I walk through the plant and see a neat decal, or go to a show and see a retail-looking water bottle or pen. If you are on the receiving end a gift with a logo on it never goes out of style!
Q: If you could collaborate with anyone (real or fictional) on a project, who would it be and why?
A: I am going to say Jerry Seinfeld. The project would be to come up with some good EQP jokes.
