There's something happening again in our industry — people are showing up.
In-person events are making a comeback, and with them comes something no platform can replicate: real conversation, faster alignment, and ideas that actually move forward. Digital keeps us connected, but in-person is where relationships deepen and decisions accelerate.
I felt this firsthand at last month's Board Retreat — two days together, away from inboxes and screens with PG Board leaders brought sharper thinking and real alignment.
That same energy carries into this week, as many of us head to ASI Chicago. It's one of those events where a hallway conversation moves a partnership forward faster than a month of emails could.
And it's not just our industry. The World Cup final capped off a summer that reminded everyone what it feels like to gather around something shared — watch parties, packed bars, group chats, and strangers high-fiving over a goal. Connection doesn't need a platform. It just needs a reason to show up.
It makes you wonder — where else are you finding yourself showing up in person more these days? At work, at home, in social settings? Whatever it looks like, presence still matters.
Cheers,
