For many November is synonymous with Thanksgiving. As such it is customary to show appreciation for those in our daily lives… employees, clients, friends and family. While 2022 has brought ups and downs, I find myself filled with so much gratitude. Most recently, I am grateful to have connected with members at Promotions East and in Clearwater for our 2022 Principal Only meeting. I am grateful to hear first hand from members how business has rebounded and grown and how optimistic members are heading into the holidays and the New Year. In this month’s newsletter, we want to help inspire you with ideas to extend your gratitude to clients with holiday gifts and start planning ahead for 2023. You will also see a recap below of our October events including our online lunch series, REFUEL. Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to each of you, Premier Group members. You are what makes Premier Group the best kept secret in the industry.

OCTOBER HAPPENINGS October was a big month for member connections. We brought the membership together screenside for our annual REFUEL event. This week-long lunchtime series was a great way to hear the latest and greatest from our supplier members and inspire new ideas for Q4. If you missed it, you can see the daily recordings by clicking here. PG members also connected in person at SAAGNY's Promotions East Show in Atlantic City from Oct 17-19 before heading to lower latitudes for this year's mid-year Principals Only meeting in Clearwater Florida. Both events refreshed attendees who came open to share new ideas and insight about the current climate of the market and the promise of growth in 2023.

Q: What's your motto of personal mantra?
A: Good Vibes Only! This is not always easy to achieve, but the more I try to stay positive, focus on my goals, and be a good person, the better I feel and the more success I find. It is so easy in today's world to get bogged down on what goes wrong (supply chain issues - am I right?!) but pushing to do the best I can and making a genuine effort to put good vibes into the world is important to me.
Q: What's your favorite project of all time?
A: My favorite project of all time was one of the first projects I worked on. We did custom sunglasses with clear lenses and then flapped UV lenses over top so they could flip up almost as a "visor" when worn. It was so silly but it was the first time I felt like I could help create a solution. It really showed me how we can carry out the creative thoughts in people's heads and opened me up to the industry in a positive way. That is the fun part of what we do - help to create joy!
Q: Any upcoming events/news you want to share from your company with our network?
A: Yes!! Pop has launched a new bespoke PMS matched leather line - it is unbelievable. The products are high quality real leather and simply the best. Everyone needs to have this on their radar, this is certainly a first for our industry! My personal favorites are the coaster set (for coffee and beyond!) and the notebook (you can literally sleep on it - that's how soft it is). |
