It's hard to top that holiday message above from PG Board Chair, Matt Wagner. I too want to celebrate each and every one of you. I witness the generous camaraderie amongst members and I would like to encourage you to celebrate each other. If someone has given you the gift of knowledge or perhaps a shared resource or opportunity, reach out and let them know how much you appreciate them. A simple call, email, text or even a social post of gratitude is infectious. I know my list is long and I am so grateful for it. As you prepare for the holiday week, I wish you celebrations filled with happiness and a new year that holds much success.
Speaking of the new year, many of us are preparing to head to Vegas for the PPAI EXPO. PG's event registrations are still open, so if you haven't already done so, secure your spot to join us at our PG Cocktail Reception and Member Breakfast. I'm looking forward to coming together to celebrate our achievements, welcome new members, and usher in positivity for the year ahead. Intersted In Board Service?
The PG nominating committee meets annually to compile a slate of candidates to serve on the Board of Directors. Board of Director terms are for two years, beginning immediately following the annual meeting. The board consists of 9 voting individuals. The committee nominates individuals for board service, consistent with the PG bylaws, and strives to ensure the board is balanced between distributors and suppliers.
If you are interested in being considered for board service: click here to submit a self-nomination form by February 1. All who submit a self-nomination form will receive a confirmation email from me that the form has been received.
